MTBain’s music comes straight from life experience, creating songs that people relate to. There’s no corporate agenda here – just honest original Texas country music. He understands and admires the work ethic, common sense & ingenuity of folks who provide for their families by the sweat of their brow. He’s also a 4th generation veteran who supports veterans & patriots. His musical journey began in a little country church and led to sharing stages with members of the Gary P. Nunn, Tanya Tucker, Gatlin Brothers, Gene Watson, Darrell McCall, Dale Watson, Rick Trevino, Eli Young, Hank Thompson, Kevin Fowler, Tracy Byrd & Geezlinslaw Brothers bands.

MTBain's band, HonkyTonk Republic, is composed of "top shelf" seasoned professionals who have toured with many Texas country music legends!  Their high energy show is interactive in the extreme, engaging audiences and filling dancehalls with incredible country music.

MT is also proud to have shared the stage in 2024 with hit songwriters David Lee & Jay Boy Adams!  MTBain is an advocate for songwriters of all genres and appreciates all the fans, venues, artists, agents, promoters and stage crews who make live music possible.
